-0.1mL per 10 pounds, dose for three days and repeat one single dose in 14 days.

We deworm every 4-6 months and piglets at 5 and 7 weeks.

Weighing your Kunekune

It is good to keep up with your Kunekunes weight, especially when it comes time to deworm. We weigh piglets every week, gilts and growing boars every couple months and adults every 6 months. If you do not have a scale, you can use the tape measure scale below .
Using a fabric tape measure- Square the heart girth, which will equal the girth result. Multiply the girth result by the length (from the base of the ears to the base of the tail) and divide by 400

Example: Heart girth of 50 inches and length of 40 inches Heart girth squared (50x50=2500)Multiply the girth result (2500) by the length (40) and divide by 400= 250 pounds
